Altered Moleskine Journal illustrating ‘Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland’ - chapter ‘Advice from a Caterpillar’ (By Heidi Burton)
Photography by Lissy Elle Laricchia

I’m away this weekend to celebrate my 21st birthday with an Alice in Wonderland themed Masquerade Ball (themed on the original Lewis Carroll/John Tenniel illustrations, rather then the new rubbishy Tim Burton style!) I’ve been working flat-out for weeks DIY-ing decorations etc for this, so fingers crossed everything goes according to plan…
I’ll be back in a few days- but I’ve queued a few posts till then.

Original manuscript for Alice in Wonderland hand written and illustrated by Lewis Carroll, 1862
Beautiful! I am currently in the midst of organizing my own Alice in Wonderland costume themed 21st for next weekend- all this DIYing is a full-time job!
