Music Box Book by Cai Lunn
blackabsynthe asked: Hello! First of all congratulations for your blog, so inspiring :)
My name's Rebecca and I'm an illustrator. I'm currently looking for new sources of inspiration - which as you know is never enough - and decided to do something a bit different than the usual looking to other art: I'd like to get inspiration from people. A LOT of people. And I would like your help, if you don't mind, to reach a bigger audience...
I set up an email address for people who want to tell me something - it may be everything, from the last dream you had to your first day of school, from something funny it happened to you to the time when you messed up your week, the last time you travelled or even if you just have something you want to tell without any particular reason. Anything. I just want to hear stories. Inspire me!
If you'd like to help me, write me at
tellmeyourstory [at] artlover [dot] com
I can read english and italian. I will be SO thankful to anyone who will write to me and try to reply to everyone.
Thanks for your help! :)
Peace & love & sorry for my messed-up english
Rebecca :)

Favorite short film of all time. Do not miss this.
Nuit Blanche explores a fleeting moment between two strangers, revealing their brief connection in a hyper real fantasy. Earth-shatteringly beautiful!

Animated Short: ‘Father and Daughter’
(An absolute favorite of mine which I’ve posted before, but the link stopped working and it’s simply too good to miss!)
My first digital animation that appears to be not as digital as it was supposed to :)
The story is about the possibility of making a journey without physically going anywhere. I explored symbols of moving and not moving, and tried to unite them and make them tell a story.
“Father and Daughter”- Beautifully visual and emotional storytelling.
